Your Role

Christ the King College is a joint Church of England and Catholic College on the Isle of Wight, providing a Christian education underpinned by Gospel values and reflecting both Church of England and Catholic traditions. It operates under the auspices of both the Church of England and Catholic Dioceses of Portsmouth.

We are looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants to support our most vulnerable students in enabling them to access their learning and achieve their full potential and to work as part of a highly successful team of support staff, supporting students with Additional and Special Educational Needs. Experience of working with young people with additional educational needs would be an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills, basic ICT skills, and a sense of humour are essential. We are happy to also consider applications from candidates who are looking for part time positions, ie less than the 32.5 hours/week as advertised - please indicate this in your application.

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicants will be expected to undertake enhanced DBS checks.
