About the Role

The Attendance & Data Apprentice will support the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of attendance and pupil data across the Trust.

Working closely with school and Trust teams, you will help ensure accurate data, produce reports and dashboards, and support leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

You will play a key role in:

  • Supporting daily attendance monitoring across schools
  • Identifying patterns of absence, lateness, and persistent absence
  • Producing attendance reports for school leaders and pastoral teams
  • Maintaining accurate pupil data on MIS systems (e.g. Arbor)
  • Producing spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards using Excel
  • Supporting data analysis across attendance, behaviour, and attainment
  • Assisting with census returns and statutory reporting
  • Supporting data accuracy, validation, and GDPR compliance

You will also complete structured apprenticeship training alongside your role, developing skills in data, reporting, and systems.


About You

We are looking for someone who is accurate, organised, and eager to learn.

You will have:

  • GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths
  • Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload
  • A responsible approach to confidential data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience in a school, office, or administrative setting
  • Familiarity with MIS systems such as Arbor
  • Basic understanding of attendance processes
  • Confidence using Excel for data or reporting
