The working hours for this role are expected to be 19 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The start date for this role is as soon as possible. Interviews are currently scheduled to take place during the week commencing 07 September 2026.

St Nicholas Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking individual. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

Wrap Around Care Leader: BSC - 1 hour per day, 5 days per week and ASC - 2.25 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

The Wrap Around Care Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day organisation of provision, ensuring a high standard of care while creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children. They plan, prepare, and deliver inclusive play activities that support children’s social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development, while also meeting individual needs and promoting independence. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining resources, ensuring safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed, and supporting positive behaviour in line with school policies. In addition, the leader builds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, communicates effectively, and continuously seeks to improve the quality of the service provided.

MDSA: 1 hour per day, 5 days per week

The Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) is responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and good conduct of children during the lunchtime period, supervising them in dining and play areas while promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies. The role includes setting up and clearing the dining environment, cleaning tables and equipment, and maintaining a tidy and safe space for pupils throughout the lunch break. The MDSA also provides basic first aid, reports accidents or illnesses, and communicates effectively with children and colleagues to support wellbeing and development. Additionally, the post holder is expected to uphold the school’s ethos, attend training and meetings, and contribute to safeguarding practices by maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
