Due to retirement, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are looking to appoint an experienced practitioner who will bring energy and fresh-thinking and is naturally passionate about the development of every child.

Our ideal candidate will offer flexibility and have the experience and confidence to work across the entire age-range (EYFS to Year 6). They will have skills to support our relational approach (Thrive) and be spontaneous in their ability to support children with a wide-range of needs. Initiative, creativity and resilience are intrinsic to the role.

A good understanding of Phonics is essential, Read, Write, Inc preferred.

We could write so much about the role and our school but believe the best approach would be for you to come and visit and in this respect, we have set aside two sessions Thursday 13 November at 2pm and Thursday 20 November at 4pm. During these visits, you will have an opportunity to tour the school, meet staff and learn more about the role from Katie Smith our  Headteacher and Luci Gordon our Deputy Head. We can guarantee you a warm welcome!

Tollerton Primary School is committed to providing a safe environment and to promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory relevant safer recruitment and DBS checks in line with our safeguarding policy. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Please be aware that online searches will be conducted on all shortlisted candidates.

Please contact Sally Read, School Business Manager to register for one of the school visits.
