Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly driven, passionate Assistant Principal to support the Senior Leadership Team to achieve high-quality educational opportunities and outcomes for our children. Applications are welcomed from current and aspiring senior leaders and we are also open to supporting a secondment arrangement.

The trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Our staff work effectively with social care, the police, health services and other services to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which are not “protected” under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. We will use the DBS check to ensure we comply with the Children Disqualification Regulations.
