Mathematics is one of our most improved departments, with 73% of students achieving a Grade 4 or above this summer. We are rightly proud of this improvement, but we are also ambitious for what comes next. Our students are brilliant, and we have no doubt that they are capable of even more. This success has come through a sustained and coordinated focus on the quality of the curriculum and the quality of its delivery. We are now looking for an expert teacher who achieved great outcomes and an ambitious leader who can build on these foundations and take the department even further. As Head of Mathematics, you will provide the leadership and subject expertise required to secure consistently high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. You will lead curriculum development, develop the expertise of colleagues, monitor student progress and ensure that assessment is used effectively to drive improvement. Above all, you will build an ambitious culture in which students are challenged, supported and inspired to succeed.
