Your Role

*Please note this is a part-time role, and you will be paid all year round as per STPCD (School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document). Please disregard the fields 'contract term' and 'hours per year'.  

This is a part-time role for 3 days per week, working on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, fixed-term for up to 1 year or on return of the postholder.

The successful candidate will join a thriving Business and Enterprise Department which enjoys a high profile in the school due to the popularity of courses on offer at key stages 4 and 5. This post offers a superb opportunity for a teacher with excellent skills to play a key role in further developing the learning experience of students and sustaining our successful results. They will contribute to teaching across a range of courses as part of a successful teaching and learning team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • an outstanding practitioner with a passion for developing education for students in a range of Business-related subjects, including GCSE, Vocational and A Level Business, Economics and Enterprise and Travel and Tourism
  • a proven track record of excellent achievement across key stages 4 and 5 (this can include initial teacher training)
  • a commitment to fresh and exciting methods of delivering the curriculum
  • a relentless drive to secure the best possible outcomes for students of all abilities
  • excellent communication and ICT skills

This role is suitable for ECT’s.
