WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At Jesmond Park Academy, the Student Support Base is used by at least 30 students across the week on a full time or part time basis. The range of needs supported with the Student Support Base is varied from medical, emotional, SEN and EAL. The role will be varied and interesting, working with a wide range of stakeholders to provide high quality support focused on maximising the outcomes for all students who need support. We are seeking to appoint as soon as possible a suitably qualified Support Assistant. We are looking for an interest in or experience in working with students with a range of needs. This is an opportunity to join a successful Student Support Team. We are looking for applicants with enthusiasm and flexibility. This post is fixed term to cover a maternity leave and will end on 12th February 2027 or earlier, if the substantive postholder returns from maternity.
