Your Role

*Please note this is a full/part time role, and you will be paid all year round as per STPCD (School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document). Please disregard the fields 'contract term' and 'hours per year'.  

We are seeking 2 highly motivated and dynamic teachers of KS2 to join our team at Great Park Academy. The successful candidates will be an enthusiastic, ambitious and driven teachers with experience of teaching at KS2. As a KS2 teacher, you will take on a key role within our school community and must therefore model high levels of professionalism, whilst being able to develop strong working relationships with staff and students.

About Us

We are a new secondary school that opened in September 2021. At Great Park Academy, our principal aim is to provide outstanding education for students from Years 5 to 11. We are a popular academy with a reputation in the local community for providing a safe, positive, caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive as learners. With high expectations and standards of achievement, both academic and personal, we encourage students to make excellent progress and to achieve their goals and aspirations. We offer learning experiences that support personal development and our staff promotes a love of learning which will be with our students throughout their lives. Great Park Academy is one of two new schools within Gosforth Group multi-academy trust. Our new school building, located in Great Park, opened in 2025 will service 1,200 students from Year 5 to Year 11.
