Your Role

Gosforth Academy is seeking a highly organised, proactive and professional Exams Officer to join our dedicated Exams Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to ensure the smooth delivery of examinations and assessments. As Exams Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the academy's compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and awarding body requirements, helping to ensure the secure, efficient and successful administration of all examinations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  2. Strong ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  3. Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
  4. Experience in an administrative or clerical role
  5. Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. A calm, professional approach when working under pressure
  8. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
