GLC Academy: The Gateway Academy

Salary: £12.86 per hour

Contract: Casual/Seasonal

The Gateway Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are a vibrant, innovative and highly successful organisation: the place of choice to work and learn. Across the 5 academies of the GLC, we celebrate differences and pledge that everyone enjoys an equality of opportunity and is not discriminated against in any way.

We are seeking reliable and committed individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators to support the coordination and administration of examinations.

Successful candidates will work alongside the Exams Officer to assist in the delivery of both internal and external examinations. Duties include ensuring exams are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations, maintaining security, and upholding a consistent, professional and supportive exam environment at all times.

This is a casual, seasonal role, ideal for individuals who are flexible, dependable and able to follow procedures accurately. Full training will be provided.
