Are you an Unqualified Teacher interested in a newly created opportunity to support the progress, achievement and pastoral care of our pupils?


About the Role

You will work across the school from YR to Y6, providing cover for other teachers as required. This role provides a valuable service in maintaining a high quality of learning experience for our pupils while allowing colleagues to complete essential work away from the classroom.

You will be supported in your planning and teaching by the qualified teacher leading the parallel class. You will be given your own PPA time (planning, preparation and assessment time) of at least 10% of your timetable every week.


About the Team

We have a large, friendly team of approximately 60 staff, including a full-time Behaviour Support Worker, ELSA and Family Support Worker. Year groups comprise of 2-3 classes and every phase is overseen by a Phase Leader.


Support for Professional Development

We use coaching as our vehicle for improvement; both to support children’s behaviour and learning and to develop and upskill our staff.

You will have access to a range of in-school and Trust-wide CPD opportunities, including the option of gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), if this is of interest.
