NJC Scale Point 3 to 4 (£24,796 to £25,185 FTE)

Actual Salary £17,633 to £17,910 per annum

31 hours 15 mins per week, 38 weeks per year. 

 

We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to provide support for pupils, teachers and the Academy in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. This role is classroom based, and the successful candidate will be expected to work within our Early Years setting.

·        children who are happy and well-behaved

·        supportive and hardworking teaching and support staff teams who are keen to make learning fun, exciting and relevant for the children

·        a strong leadership team who are driving the school forward

·        a clear emphasis on supporting the whole child, including having a Behaviour Support Worker, Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and Family Support Worker

·        supportive parents, several of whom volunteer regularly in the classroom

·        an active PTA who helps us keep our teaching and learning environments well- resourced.

Qualifications

Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Mathematics essential
NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Practice or equivalent essential
Paediatric First Aid Certificatedesirable
