About the Role

This role presents an exciting opportunity to nurture students’ creativity while fostering resilience, independence and critical thinking through a broad and engaging artistic experience.

Key priorities for the role include:

  • Delivering engaging and ambitious lessons that inspire creativity and secure strong student progress
  • Contributing to the continued development of a rich and contemporary Art curriculum
  • Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level
  • Promoting experimentation, individuality and artistic confidence in students
  • Playing an active role in building student character and contributing to wider Academy life, including showcasing of student work and enrichment opportunities
  • Working collaboratively within a high-performing and supportive department

 

About the Department

The curriculum is carefully designed to develop both technical mastery and personal expression, encouraging students to engage with a wide range of media, artists and cultural influences.
