Main/Upper Pay Range
Part time (0.4 FTE)
Required for September 2026
Reducing Workload and improving staff well-being are priorities for the Board of Directors at Hatton Academies Trust. We fully support workload reform and the development of teachers; enabling them to concentrate on teaching and learning; and we believe every teacher is entitled to the best possible CPD.
We have been working hard to support the improvements in our Primary Academies and are looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join the team, so that we can continue to really make a difference to the way we teach, the standard of education and the outcomes for our children. As with all classes in our small, friendly village academy, the children are taught in a mixed age class combining Year 3 and Year 4.
We are proud of the way we work together. Here is some feedback from existing colleagues showing how they feel about our wonderful academy:
“Teamwork - we always pull together and support each other. “
“Staff always checking on you and supporting you. Especially with new jobs and tasks to do.”
“An open and honest atmosphere”
“A shared sense of humour and the ability to see the funny side of things”
(Excerpts from Hatton Academies Trust People Wellbeing Survey 2023)
In June 2023, Ofsted inspectors judged Ecton Village Primary Academy to be ‘good’ in all five areas of the inspection framework. The report is filled with positive statements from pupils and parents, and noted that ‘One pupil spoke for many when they said, “This is a great community. Even though we are a small school – we are a big family!”’

· Excellent employee benefits and well-being initiatives (e.g. “Big Brand” discounts, discounted gym membership)
· A clear leadership vision, built on trust, which empowers all members of the team to develop and progress.
If you have ….
· proven ability to deliver high quality teaching and achieving strong outcomes
· a passion for learning, with a good understanding of current educational issues
· the ability to create a safe and rich learning environment for our children
· imagination, drive, determination, a growth mind-set and enthusiasm
