St Mary’s Catholic College is seeking to appoint a hard-working, part-time cleaner who is committed to maintaining high standards across the school; helping us ensure that our children are safe at all times. The successful candidate will become a valued member of our friendly and dedicated cleaning team and will be required to undertake general duties relating to cleaning across the School.


A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene is essential. Previous cleaning experience and flexibility is essential as the post holder may be asked to cover for other members of the team. Ideally you should have experience within a cleaning environment within a school. 


This is a permanent position, 52 weeks per year, 27 days holiday to be taken in non-term time. The working hours are 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday split-shifts, hours to be agreed.


The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously.


In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, Holy Family Multi Academy Trust will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates, this may include social media and video platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Online searches will only examine data that is publicly available, and the aim is to identify any incidents or issues. Any areas of concern will be discussed during the interview process.
