Your Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Curriculum Development Lead for Creative Technologies - Art Specialism to join a thriving and successful faculty.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and creative leader who is eager to contribute to a faculty committed to securing the highest educational standards for all students. We are seeking a candidate with high expectations, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students across the full range of age and ability.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Head of Faculty in providing strategic and operational leadership of the department including Art, with responsibility for more than one Key Stage / Coordinator.

The candidate will play a central role in raising standards of teaching, learning and outcomes, driving rapid improvement, and ensuring consistency across classes and Key Stages.

The role includes deputising for the Head of Faculty in their absence and contributing significantly to departmental leadership, staff development and accountability for pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will share in our vision for Catholic Education, as part of a successful and experienced Art department, that is committed to raising academic standards for all students whilst supporting the spiritual and moral development of the whole person.

The Art department is both innovative and supportive with a history of strong results at KS4 and 5, focused on inspiring children to reflect, learn and achieve.

This is an opportunity to join an Art department where a love of Art is nurtured and students are encouraged to develop a love of the subject beyond the classroom.

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Want to transform children’s lives and develop a love of Art
  • Are excellent classroom practitioners
  • Work well with staff and students alike
  • Are looking to join a community of schools that promotes the formation of young people into successful citizens
  • Are interested in developing their practice and committed to their own professional development

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, Holy Family Multi Academy Trust will undertake general online searches for all shortlisted candidates, this may include social media and video platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Online searches will only examine data that is publicly available, and the aim is to identify any incidents or issues. Any areas of concern will be discussed during the interview process.
