Your Role

Making a Difference Every Day:

We are seeking a dedicated, caring and highly organised Head of Year to lead a designated year group of students, providing pastoral leadership and ensuring every student is supported to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will lead a team of tutors, work closely with families and external agencies, and implement effective strategies to promote excellent attendance, behaviour, punctuality, wellbeing and academic achievement, addressing barriers to success and fostering a positive, inclusive culture for all students.

The person we appoint will:

  1. be a highly organised, efficient and motivated person with excellent communication skills.
  2. have experience of working with young people in a professional capacity.
  3. be able to engage professionally with staff, students, parents and external providers.
  4. have a professional and friendly approach.
  5. be an excellent team player with the highest expectations of themselves.

Qualifications

5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalentessential
