Your Role

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Academy Site Manager to take pride in keeping our school safe, secure, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.


The role will include:

  • Opening and securing the school premises each day
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and health & safety checks
  • Overseeing contractors and site works
  • Ensuring our buildings and grounds remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times
  • Supporting with event set-up and general caretaking duties


Working pattern:

Total: 25 hours per week all year round but working split shifts morning and after school


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is practical, well-organised, and takes pride in their work
  • Understands health & safety requirements in a school or similar environment
  • Can work independently but also as part of a friendly, supportive team
  • Is flexible and willing to respond to occasional out-of-hours emergencies

Qualifications

Basic Health & Safety Certificateessential
Good qualifications in both English and Mathsessential
COSHHdesirable
Recognised qualification in facilities management, Health and Safety or HRdesirable
Health and Safety Qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, COSHH, etc) or willing to work towardsdesirable
