Your Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and forward‑thinking Teacher of ICT, Computing and Digital Literacy to join The Birley Academy. You will deliver high‑quality teaching across ICT, Computing and Digital Literacy, helping pupils develop the knowledge, skills and digital confidence they need to succeed in an increasingly technological world. Working within a collaborative department, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment and enrichment, ensuring all pupils make strong progress and are well prepared for future study and employment.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and high expectations for all pupils. You will be committed to inclusive education, skilled in planning engaging and well‑structured lessons, and confident in using assessment to support and challenge learners of all abilities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, model excellent behaviour and conduct, and share a genuine belief in the power of education to transform lives. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and those early in their career.

Why Join Us
