Your Role

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and reliable Cleaner to join our site team at Birley Primary Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust for 10 hours a week during term time and upto 30 hours during the holidays. This role will be for 2 hours each day. Anticipated hours will be EITHER 6am-8am or 3pm-5pm, however these can be discussed at Interview. This role is essential in ensuring that our pupils and staff work in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.


Main duties include:

  1. Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas to a high standard
  2. Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  3. Maintaining hygiene in toilets and washroom facilities
  4. Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the site manager
  5. Following all safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures
