Warren Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Site Manager to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding role at the heart of our school community, ensuring that our buildings and grounds are safe, secure, well-maintained and ready to support excellent teaching and learning every day.


As our Site Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the school premises, carrying out health and safety checks, undertaking minor repairs and liaising with contractors. You will take pride in ensuring that every child, member of staff and visitor experiences a safe, clean and welcoming environment.


We are looking for someone who:

  1. Has practical maintenance, DIY or caretaking experience.
  2. Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
  3. Has good knowledge of health and safety practices.
  4. Can work independently and prioritise a varied workload.
  5. Is organised, reliable and proactive.
  6. Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  7. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.


Main Responsibilities

  1. Opening and securing the school site.
  2. Carrying out routine health and safety inspections and compliance checks.
  3. Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  4. Monitoring the condition of the school buildings and grounds.
  5. Supporting contractors working on site.
  6. Maintaining accurate site and maintenance records.
  7. Ensuring the school remains safe, secure and welcoming for all users.
