About the Role:
- Lead and promote PE across the school, fostering a strong and positive culture within the subject.
- Lead the PE department, ensuring high-quality teaching, curriculum delivery and team performance.
- Monitor student progress to ensure strong outcomes and implement effective interventions where needed.
- Oversee and develop a broad extra-curricular PE and sports programme.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE department
About you:
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and a passion for leading high-quality teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
