We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to lead our dynamic and forward-thinking PE department as Head of PE.

About the Role:

  • Lead and promote PE across the school, fostering a strong and positive culture within the subject.
  • Lead the PE department, ensuring high-quality teaching, curriculum delivery and team performance.
  • Monitor student progress to ensure strong outcomes and implement effective interventions where needed.
  • Oversee and develop a broad extra-curricular PE and sports programme.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE department

  • Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and a passion for leading high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
  • The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
