Hours: ·        Monday – Friday,  1.00pm – 3.20pm


 

About Us:

Shalford Infant & Nursery School is looking for a caring, passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join the EYFS team. This a permanent role providing 1:1 support to a child within our nurturing nursery environment.


We are a friendly and nurturing small village infant and nursery school, dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our young learners. With a strong sense of community, our school values teamwork, kindness, and a commitment to helping every child thrive.


Job Overview:

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Class Teacher to:

·        Support a child 1:1 to access learning and participate fully in nursery activities

·        Help implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

·        Promote independence, engagement, and positive relationships

·        Assist with preparation of the learning environment, activities, and resources


You should have experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage and demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting young children. You will deliver EYFS learning in a fun, imaginative way and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
