We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant to provide support for teaching and learning in our friendly and inclusive school. The successful candidate will have a clear commitment to promoting the well-being of the children in our care and to raising standards.
St Margaret Clitherow’s Catholic Primary School is part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust (NPCAT), a family of 38 schools and 2 sixth forms from across the Diocese of Middlesbrough. We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- Will promote our friendly Catholic ethos, and will work as part of a committed team.
- Will be an excellent practitioner with high expectations for children in their care.
- Provide tailored support to a child in both classroom and individual settings.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to support pupil progress.
- Contribute towards creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Support pupils with personal care and physical needs where required.
- Have the ability to form positive, professional and effective relationships with colleagues across school, other professionals and parents/carers.
- Will have a commitment to innovation, creativity and inclusion.
