Your Role

The Science Faculty is a very strong department with a mixture of committed teachers of varied backgrounds and experiences, and the department benefits from strong and supportive leadership. It is envisaged that the person appointed will be enthusiastic and able to teach Science to all levels and abilities, and who is committed to ensuring pupil enjoyment and progress within our successful department.

 

We are looking for a colleague who is passionate, has strong interpersonal skills and has the ambition to build upon the strong foundations that are already in place. You will have the support of a team of postholders, who bring expertise in all areas of the curriculum, and in the development of Teaching and Learning.

 

 

The successful candidate will:

·        Be able to deliver Science to KS4

·        Have a love of their subject 

·        Have a sound and detailed subject knowledge

·        Have high regard for their learning environment and resources

·        Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure outstanding progress for all students 

·        Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
