Your Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, ambitious, and highly effective Maths Subject Leader from September 2026. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and high expectations. This is a highly successful school with an exceptionally low staff turnover. This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced/ambitious teacher seeking a new and rewarding challenge.


We were recognised as a Good school by Ofsted in May 2022. Last year we were one of the top of Staffordshire with an average A level grade of a B. Maths and Further Maths are very successful courses. At Key Stage 4 are attainment 8 score was 4.8 which was above the national average. 78% of our students achieved a grade 4+ in Maths, with 20% of the cohort achieving a grade 7+.

Maths is an experienced team of specialist teachers who are all committed to ensuring that students achieve their full potential and enjoy their learning. The Maths Department are a strong, supportive team.
