St Charles’ Catholic Academy is a vibrant school seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to start as soon as possible.


Post Title:

Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Working Time: Part Time, Term Time only. 

Working Hours: Monday—Friday 11.45am—1.15pm (7.5 hours per work)

Salary: NJC Point 3. Actual Salary—£4,277 per annum

Responsible to: School Business Manager

Responsible for: The lunchtime support and supervision of pupils.


Job purpose:

 

· Supervise pupils as directed (see core duties)

· Encourage independence, good manners and eating habits of the pupils

· Helping as and when necessary with pupils at mealtimes who may have difficulties

· Various assistance roles within the dining hall (see core duties)

· Supervise and interact with pupils whilst they are playing

· Comply with health and safety policy and procedures

· Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils be adhering to specified procedures
