The Opportunity
We are seeking an inspirational, dedicated, and forward-thinking Deputy Headteacher to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and passionate leader to play a key role in shaping the future of our academy.
Working closely with the Headteacher, you will support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Headteacher in delivering the visionary leadership of the school
- Lead on key areas of school improvement and strategic development
- Promote excellence in teaching and learning across the academy
- Monitor and evaluate standards, ensuring all pupils achieve their potential
- Foster a strong Catholic ethos in all aspects of school life
- Support staff development, coaching, and performance management
- Contribute to safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils and staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a practising Catholic and committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school
- Have substantial leadership experience in a primary/secondary setting (adjust as appropriate)
- Demonstrate a proven track record of raising standards and improving outcomes
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a clear vision for teaching and learning
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
