The Trinity Catholic Academy is strengthening its business support function and is recruiting an experienced and motivated Business Support Officer to lead and shape our administrative service. Working alongside a Business Support Assistant, you will develop a highly efficient, compliant, and professional support function that underpins the success of the whole school.


You will oversee and lead the operational administration of the school, ensuring high standards of efficiency, compliance and service delivery.

🌟 Key responsibilities


  1. Lead and coordinate the day-to-day running of the school office
  2. Line manage and develop the Business Support Assistant
  3. Oversee pupil data, attendance and MIS systems
  4. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and statutory requirements
  5. Act as the school’s Data Protection Lead
  6. Coordinate finance and HR administration processes
  7. Provide reporting and analysis to support leadership


👤 What we’re looking for


  1. Strong experience in a busy administrative environment
  2. Leadership or supervisory experience
  3. Excellent organisational, analytical and ICT skills
  4. Experience with MIS systems (e.g. SIMS or Arbor)
  5. Ability to manage priorities and drive improvement
  6. A professional, calm and solution-focused approach
