Your Role

At Notre Dame, our mission is rooted firmly in our Catholic values: we are committed to providing an education that inspires every young person to achieve academic excellence, grow in character, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Central to this is our unwavering belief in the power of high quality teaching to transform lives.

We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher who will lead our strategy for teaching and learning with clarity, ambition, and integrity. You will join a dedicated and highly skilled staff team who share a collective determination to secure the very best outcomes for all pupils, including those who are disadvantaged or have additional needs. Our curriculum is purposeful, inclusive, and continually refined to ensure that every child experiences challenge, joy, and success in the classroom.

As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping pedagogy, strengthening professional development, and ensuring our teachers are supported to deliver consistently excellent practice. This role requires a leader who is both innovative and evidence-informed, someone who can drive sustained improvement while nurturing a culture where staff feel valued, encouraged, and empowered to grow.

Notre Dame Catholic Academy is a vibrant, warm, and proud school with a deep sense of community. Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and their enthusiasm, resilience, and spirit make this a truly rewarding place to work. If you share our commitment to high expectations, our belief in the potential of every young person, and our passion for teaching and learning, we would be delighted to receive your application.
