We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and successful Additional Learning Support team. The role involves working closely with our SEND/EHCP students across a range of subjects to support students’ learning in mainstream classes and in specific Intervention sessions.

As a Teaching Assistant you would:

  1. Support students to access lessons across the school;
  2. Develop an understanding of the needs of the students you will be working with;
  3. Build students’ self-esteem and confidence;
  4. Monitor, record and report on student progress;
  5. Work 1:1 or in small groups with students.

If you have a genuine passion for education, and a desire to make a positive difference, excellent organisation and communication skills and a friendly and professional manner then we would be interested to hear from you. The successful candidate will be able to establish a positive, supportive relationship with our more vulnerable students. They will be flexible and able to adapt both to the developing needs of the students and the requirements of the teacher and department. The ability to work calmly under pressure and a willingness to learn and work with our digital systems will be required.
