Myton School are looking for a new Headteacher!

Myton School is an oversubscribed, popular, and high performing school, situated between Warwick and Leamington Spa with over 1,700 pupils and a strong community spirit. The school’s ethos promotes pupils who are community minded, aspirational, respectful, and engaged, fostering a culture of inclusion and personal development that supports learners from a wide range of backgrounds.

Our sixth form is judged Outstanding, and its PAN is set to grow to 550, reflecting continued demand and confidence from families. The school offers a broad and ambitious post-16 curriculum supported by strong pastoral care and a culture of aspiration.

We provide an inclusive and personalised curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. Year after year, our students achieve GCSE outcomes above national averages. Our highly successful SEND team, comprising specialist teachers, experienced teaching assistants, behaviour and engagement staff, pupil welfare and support colleagues, and a range of external agencies, ensures that we remain a truly inclusive school where every young person can thrive.

Beyond the classroom, we offer a huge and diverse range of extra‑curricular activities and trips, both within the UK and abroad. These have included Newquay and Bruhl residentials, language trips to Spain and France, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, inspiring visits to the Supreme Court and Houses of Parliament, university taster days, and popular enrichment experiences such as Cadbury World, Drayton Manor and the National Space Centre - ensuring pupils experience a truly rounded education.

A transformative new build project, due for completion within the next three years, will enhance the learning environment and modernise facilities, ensuring pupils and staff benefit from an inspiring and future focused setting. Strong links with local primary schools and community organisations further enrich our work and create meaningful opportunities to strengthen transition, partnership, and outreach.

We are looking for a values driven, trauma informed and ambitious leader to take on the Headship of this vibrant and aspirational 11–18 secondary school within Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust. As Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in developing responsible, capable, and confident young people prepared for life beyond school, while contributing to a collaborative MAT community that champions high expectations, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an inspirational and exceptional school leader with outstanding interpersonal skills who can:

·         Build upon the sustained success of the school.

·         Enhance our culture of achievement that promotes excellence, high expectations, and inclusion grounded in values-based leadership.

·         Support the wellbeing of our outstanding staff body.

·         Work in a collegiate manner with school leaders across the Multi Academy Trust.

We offer:

·         A comprehensive induction programme.

·         The opportunity to lead a truly exceptional school.

·         A brilliant and supportive staff team.

·        A supportive Governing Body.

If you are energised by the challenge of leading a school where ambition, creativity, and moral purpose drive everything we do, this could be the defining next step in your career.
