Oakley School is an all-through school on the edge of South Leamington in Warwickshire. We welcomed our first Year 7 cohort in September 2023 and first Reception cohort in September 2024; we continue to welcome a new group every year until the school is complete up to Year 11. We are committed to ensuring that we have a fantastic team of staff who share in a vision of educational excellence for the children, families and wider school community that we serve.

Oakley School provides a unique, once-in-a-career opportunity to join a growing school and contribute to its journey towards excellence.

We are seeking an inspiring and innovative Specialist Teacher to join our all‑through school at Oakley, working primarily with KS3 pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans . This is an exciting and forward‑thinking role, designed to meet the needs of our high SEN population and to further develop inclusive practice across the school.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing and successful access to mainstream classrooms, working closely with subject teachers, support staff, families and external professionals. You will plan and deliver curriculum, targeted interventions, provide expert guidance, and help shape adaptive strategies that enable pupils with additional needs to thrive academically and socially.

We are looking for a practitioner with high expectations for all learners, a strong understanding of SEN, and a commitment to inclusive education. You will be a highly collaborative professional, confident in building positive relationships and contributing to an innovative, solution‑focused team. In return, Oakley offers a supportive environment where creativity, professional growth and inclusive practice are genuinely valued.
