We are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated Year 5 Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant school community from September 2026. This is a part‑time job share role, teaching on Thursdays and Fridays, working closely with an existing class teacher to ensure continuity, collaboration and a high‑quality learning experience for all pupils.
About the Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire curiosity and deepen understanding
- Work collaboratively with your job share partner to ensure consistent planning, assessment and communication
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Assess and track pupil progress, providing high‑quality feedback
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- A commitment to high expectations and pupil wellbeing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A reflective practitioner who enjoys working as part of a team and values shared responsibility
