About Our School

We are a small village primary school at the heart of our community, where every child is valued as an individual and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our caring ethos, positive relationships and high expectations create an environment where children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We pride ourselves on:

  1. Happy, well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning.
  2. A welcoming and supportive staff team.
  3. Strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
  4. A commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development.
  5. A broad and engaging curriculum that promotes curiosity and creativity.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  1. Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
  2. Has a passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences.

  4. Can effectively teach within a mixed-age Year 3/4 class.
  5. Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  6. Works collaboratively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
  7. Is committed to inclusion and supporting the needs of every child.
  8. Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers currently working within the Main Pay Scale (M1-M6).

We Can Offer:

  1. Enthusiastic, polite and caring children who love learning.
  2. A friendly and highly supportive staff team.
  3. A strong commitment to professional development and career progression.
  4. Opportunities to contribute to wider school improvement initiatives.
  5. A positive working environment within a caring village community.
  6. A leadership team that values staff wellbeing and work-life balance.

Our size is one of our greatest strengths. Working in a small village school offers the chance to be part of a caring and supportive team where everyone knows and values one another. Children are known as individuals, staff work closely together, and positive relationships with families are at the heart of everything we do. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys building strong connections and wants to be fully involved in school life.
