Sennen School is the first and last school in the land, located in the small village of Sennen, just eight miles west of Penzance and less than two miles from Land’s End. We are fortunate to have easy access to Sennen Cove, one of Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches.
Our engaging curriculum inspires a love of learning, reading and the natural world, and we make the most of our stunning surroundings through forest and beach learning.
At Sennen School, our core values of being ready, respectful and responsible underpin everything we do. These values run through all aspects of school life, with the aim of developing our pupils by building resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness, teamwork and respect.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the Year 3 and 4 curriculum
Provide targeted 1:1 support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs

Help to create an inclusive, positive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources and general classroom duties

This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to children’s progress and confidence.

Has an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, supporting children with additional needs
Brings energy, enthusiasm and a flexible approach to the role
