West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Teacher of Art to join our vibrant and forward-thinking department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving school community dedicated to excellence. We are looking for a talented Art teacher who:
- Has a genuine passion for Art and creativity, and can inspire this in students
- Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
- Encourages students to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills
- Is committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners to reach their full potential
- Works collaboratively within a supportive and ambitious department
What you'll need to succeed
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have strong subject knowledge and a love for Art education
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Be motivated, organised, and eager to contribute to wider school life
