Your Role

Mere Green Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Before & After School Club Manager to lead and develop our after-school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the after-school club, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and enjoyment for all children attending. You will lead a small team, plan activities, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Hours: 15 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Term Time Only)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the after-school club
  • Plan and deliver a range of creative, fun, and stimulating activities
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
  • Manage staff, including supervision and support
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding procedures
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff

  • A caring, energetic, and reliable approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Relevant childcare qualification (desirable)
