Your Role

The Royal Sutton School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly effective Teacher of SEND to join our supportive and ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students, delivering targeted teaching and intervention programmes that help learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing personalised support, developing confidence, and removing barriers to learning for some of our most vulnerable students.

Key responsibilities

Delivering specialist teaching and intervention sessions.

Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Working closely with the SEND team, pastoral staff and classroom teachers.

Monitoring student progress and implementing effective support strategies.

Contributing to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews and SEND provision where appropriate.
