Your Role

The Coleshill School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our dedicated Science team.

We welcome applications from teachers with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. The successful candidate will be passionate about science and committed to inspiring students to develop their knowledge, curiosity and confidence in the subject.

Experience of teaching A Level Science would be desirable but is not essential. We are interested in hearing from teachers who are enthusiastic about their subject and are committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students.

  1. Is an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Science.
  2. Has a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
  3. Has a passion for their subject and can inspire and engage students.
  4. Has high expectations of students and is committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential.
  5. Can plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Science curriculum.
  6. Is committed to developing students' scientific knowledge, skills and understanding.
  7. Works effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative department.
  8. Is committed to their own professional development and to contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
  9. Has experience of teaching A Level Science, or an interest in developing this experience (desirable but not essential).
