Your Role

The Coleshill School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lead Teacher of Design and Technology to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Design and Technology teacher to take on a leadership role within the department, supporting the development of the subject and helping to ensure that students receive an engaging, challenging and high-quality curriculum.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Design and Technology and committed to inspiring students to develop their creativity, practical skills and problem-solving abilities. You will have high expectations of yourself and others and be keen to contribute to the continued development of teaching and learning across the subject.

  3. Has the experience and confidence to take a lead role within the Design and Technology department.

  7. Can develop students' design, problem-solving and practical skills.
  8. Is committed to maintaining a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  9. Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to the wider school community.
  10. Is committed to their own professional development and to continually improving teaching and learning.
