WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:

  • Has a sound and developed knowledge of your subject and of its examination specifications.
  • Has the experience to teach RE at KS3 and KS4.
  • Is an outstanding leader, teacher and role model for all.
  • Has a proven track record of leadership.
  • Is a great team player, friendly and professional.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues.
  • Will enthuse and motivate colleagues and students to work hard and try their best.
  • Has previous experience of working with children aged 11 -16 in an education setting.
  • Demonstrates personal resilience and role models those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.
  • Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.


YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • To provide professional leadership and management for the RE Department.
  • To be a role model to members of the department, demonstrating excellent teaching and learning in their own practice and providing innovative curriculum thinking to drive the curriculum forward in all linked subjects.
  • To raise standards across the subject in Teaching and Learning and Curriculum leading to better outcomes for all.
