WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:
- Passionate about improvising outcomes for children, young people and families
- Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, parents/carers and professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting vulnerable families and pupils with social, emotional or behavioural needs
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Empathetic, resilient and able to manage sensitive situations professionally
- Organised and able to prioritise a varied workload effectively
- Able to work independently and as part of a pastoral/safeguarding team
- Committed to inclusion, equality and parental engagement
- Proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach to supporting families
YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:
To provide a professional level of support to parents/carers and school staff, providing a core offer of services for pupil and their families where pupils present with challenges and barriers to learning.
