Your Role

Receptionist

£22,201 – £24,033 per annum, full-time, term time only plus 1 week

Do you love being the friendly face everyone remembers? Are you organised, approachable, and confident chatting with a wide range of people? Do you enjoy keeping things running smoothly while being part of a supportive, fast-paced team?

If you have answered yes to these questions then we want to hear from you!

Lytham St Annes High School (LSA) is looking for a welcoming and dependable Receptionist to join our Business Support team. This is a key front-of-house role where no two days are the same, and where you’ll play a vital part in the everyday life of our school.

As the first point of contact, you’ll be the friendly voice on the phone and the welcoming face at reception, helping visitors, staff, students, and external partners feel supported from the moment they arrive. You’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure the school runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently at all times.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time.

A day in your new role could see you:

  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding and front-of-house procedures are followed
  • Answering phone calls, managing emails, and responding to enquiries with professionalism and warmth
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to the Business Support team
  • Preparing and sharing the daily staff briefing
  • Distributing ‘all staff’ communications
  • Keeping meeting room calendars up to date and helping staff with bookings

Apply now and become the voice, the smile, and the calm in the busy school day!
