At Blackpool Sixth we are all about empowering young people and creating a place where learning truly comes to life. We specialise in outstanding 16-19 education, and we are on the lookout for a dedicated T Level and BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher to join our fabulous team on a full-time basis. You may also have an opportunity to teach on our new Early Childhood Development course. Applications from candidates interested in part-time hours will also be considered. Based in our Social Sciences department, you will work closely with others to support your students in achieving their goals and discovering their potential. Qualifications

A Good Degree in Relevant Subjectessential

Experience

Knowledge of curriculum in BTEC Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care and/or T Level in Health (adult nursing pathway)essential
Experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for early career teachers) on related coursesessential
Knowledge and experience of classroom-based teachingessential
Successful track record of teaching observations essential
Relevant industry experience in a Health & Social Care profession
Successful delivery to students at level 3
Experience of and willingness to organise and participate in educational visits and curriculum enrichment activities
