Your Role

Site Manager

Grade 6 — £28,142 to £32,062 (full year)

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (split shift)

Do you take pride in creating safe, clean, and welcoming spaces? Are you someone who can spot what needs doing, roll up your sleeves, and make things happen? Do you enjoy working with others and keeping a site running smoothly and safely?

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Chadwick High School is seeking a positive, self‑motivated Site Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and maintaining a school environment where students and staff feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.

Our site team is at the heart of daily school life - keeping the buildings secure, the grounds tidy, and the environment running like clockwork. With two cleaners to oversee, you’ll be part of a small, friendly, solutions‑focused team that takes pride in high standards and teamwork.

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week, full year
  • Split shift: 7:00am–10:00am and 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday

(Annual leave is taken during school closures, with some flexibility for the right candidate)

A day in the life of a Site Manager could see you:

  • Keeping the school safe, secure, and well‑maintained throughout the day
  • Overseeing cleaning staff and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
  • Carrying out DIY, repairs, and maintenance to keep the site in excellent condition
  • Managing health & safety procedures, checks, and compliance
  • Opening and closing the school, ensuring security at all times
  • Working with contractors and external services to maintain the site
  • Supporting school operations, from room setups to emergency responses

We welcome applications from current lower‑grade site supervisors who feel ready to step up - even if you don’t yet have all the experience or qualifications. Responsibilities can be adjusted to match experience.
