Your Role

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher (Drums) to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.

The core purpose of the role will be as a Music Teacher (Drums). You will provide specialist tuition to KS4 students, supporting their preparation for performance coursework as part of the GCSE Music specification. The role involves working closely with the Head of Music to deliver tailored lessons that meet the individual needs and skill levels of the students.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Learning
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective drum lessons to KS4 students, ensuring they develop the skills required for their performance exams.
  • Provide individual support to students, addressing their unique challenges and fostering confidence in their playing.
  • Prepare students for assessments, ensuring all exam requirements are met.
