Your Role

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a Mathematics Intervention Teacher. In this role, you will work closely with the Mathematics Team. Ashton on Mersey School is in the central hub of The Dean Trust and serves the community of Sale and beyond.

  2. Qualified Teacher Status
  3. Excellent and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
  4. To be able to teach Mathematics up to GCSE standard
  5. Full working knowledge of the curriculum requirements for Mathematics subjects
  6. To be able to work as a member of a team
  7. To be committed to ensuring that every pupil is given the opportunity to achieve their potential and meet the high expectations set for them
  8. Take responsibility for their own professional development and to keep up to date with research and developments in both their subject and teaching methodology
  9. Demonstrates well developed knowledge and understanding of the latest innovations in Mathematics
  10. Excellent communication skills
  11. To be able to work effectively with pupils, staff, parents and members of the community
  12. Is highly organised and efficient
  13. Ability to work individually and as part of a team
