Your Role

We are looking for a warm and caring individual to assist the Head of School as required in order to care for the safety and wellbeing of children during the lunchtime period.

Abilities, Skills and Knowledge

Aware of the expectation to approach difference positively and able to adopt an inclusive approach to pupils of all backgroundsessential
Able to interact positively with a group of children or on a one-to-one basisessential
Can demonstrate/ evidence the ability to support children in developing positive behavioursessential
Understanding of how children play and socialise in a school environmentessential
Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writingessential
Able to be an effective role model for the standards of behaviour expected of childrenessential
Awareness of school policies and procedures relating to Child Protection, Health & Safety and Data Protection
Able to manage children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and to be able to work effectively with them.

Experience

Experience of communicating effectively with colleaguesessential

Experience of working with children/young peopleessential
Experience of working in a school or educational setting
